Wildlife in Ponteland
Although close to the Tyneside conurbation, Ponteland's many well-maintained gardens, river, beautiful Park and surrounding quiet countryside provide a range of habitats which are home to a wide variety of plants and animals
Upcoming talks:
Details of our talks are sent out each month during the programme season to everyone on our e-mail list of supporters - if you're not on the list and would like to be added please send your e-mail address to pontelandwildlifegroup@gmail.com.
NEXT TALK: The next session of the 2026-27 season will be on Tuesday 6th October when Katherine O'Hara will be giving a talk on 'Space for Shorebirds' - protecting the birds of the Northumberland Coast.
The full programme for our 2026-27 season of talks is available here. As usual we'll be meeting in St. Mary's Parish Centre and refreshments will be available. Entry fee £3.
